Over the weekend I had my favourite person come to stay which is always fun. After a busy weekend by Sunday we were both in need for some fresh air and one of the best things about living in beautiful North Somerset is the variety of choice we have with so many country estates, parks and woods to visit all within a short drive.

I work pretty much work every weekend, the opposite to my boyfriend which makes it really difficult to see each other, especially when we're 170 miles apart! Luckily this weekend I had Saturday off, which meant we could actually see each other and do something fun!

Recently I've been watching lots of travel videos filmed on GoPros (when I should have been doing more important thing i.e. sorting out currency, doing a trial run of packing my backpack...).

56 Days To Go

It's 12:05pm, I'm currently sat in my bed, thinking that I probably should sleep soon....not quite yet though!  Thought this might be a good time to start my travel blog, 56 days before my first flight! 

After drinks with a friend this evening I've realised that I possibly should be documenting my trip and the planning stages before I even take off. But please don't expect too much from this blog it will probably just be me chatting away to myself for 6 months.
