I'm a strong believer in that sometimes it's best not to be sensible, when you see flights to Venice for £19.99 - bloody book them and work out the logistics after!

A couple of months ago just before whole RyanAir flight cancellation fiasco I just happened to be browsing their website, as you do, and found flights to Venice Marco Polo at just £19.99 each way - too good to resist!
We were already due to be attending a wedding on that weekend so we decided to fly out on the Sunday and catch a return flight following Saturday from Bergamo which worked out perfectly allowing us to spend time in Venice, Milan and Lake Como. Quite the itinerary for six days and in hindsight we probably wouldn't have tried to squeeze quite so much in!
I can't wait to share lots of photos from our mini road trip through Northern Italy - a trip we have wanted to take for a very long time!
