The Frome Independent

Monday, 2 October 2017

Every month the town of Frome holds a seriously special market hosting a whole variety of stalls - if you like Vintage or handmade items or if you love delicious food this is the place for you!

The weather was a little bleak when we visited this time, which was the polar opposite to my last visit in the scorching sun last summer!

In a time when there is such a strong movement of people wanting to source their food locally it is truly lovely to see what a vast range of delicious treats are being produced right on my doorstep.

Part of market takes place along the cobbled streets with each stall holder offering something completely bespoke - there were some stunning pieces to be found!

At the other end of market, after crossing a bridge you come to a large open space filled with as many vintage goodies as you can dream of - my heaven!

From retro haberdashery to vintage dining tables and original 80s leather jackets it was difficult not to buy everything!

Frome is also lucky to have lots of Vintage clothes shops perfect for a rummage! I know me and my mum could spend all day, every searching through all the treasure!

I've heard that their December market is something out of a Traditional English Christmas dream - I'm already looking forward to it!
